NSW: Snow report for Saturday August 30, 2008

SYDNEY, Aug 30 AAP - The NSW snow report for Saturday August 30, 2008:

THREDBO: No new snow but the cover across the resort is described as excellent. A sunny
start to the day but showers are forecast this afternoon. Top temperature at the village
will be nine degrees celsius. Average snow depth is around 160 cm. All 14 lifts operating
and roads open to the resort.

SELWYN: There's a very deep base of snow over the resort, but no new snow overnight.

A calm, sunny day is forecast but there is a chance of a shower this afternoon. Average
snow depth 130 cm. Up to 12 lifts operating today and roads open today.

CHARLOTTE PASS: No new snow, but the snow condition is excellent over the entire resort.

It will be mainly fine today with snow showers developing towards the later part of the
day. The wind will be moderate and from the southwest. Top temperature will be four degrees
celsius. All five lifts are open.

PERISHER: No new snow overnight but the cover is described as excellent across all
four resort areas. Another fine day with light winds forecast for today. 48 lifts to open.

Top temperature will be eight degrees celsius and all roads leading to the resort are
open. Fresh show forecast above 1,700 metres tomorrow.
